The Page, AZ Balloon Regatta and Street Fair – Page’s biggest annual event – was held Nov. 2-5, attracting around 60 hot-air balloon pilots and thousands of spectators.

A letter addressed to Page Mayor Bill Diak begins, “Dear William: We are pleased to notify you that your annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022, qualifies for GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.”

The Sand Devils are the 3A North Champions after its defense mounted a strong goal-line stand against the Chinle Wildcats in the waning seconds of the game on Oct. 27.

The Page Middle School Dust Devils football team are the 2023 NAIC champions after its 12-8 victory over the Chinle Bobcats.

Page City Council authorized paying $101,382 to J2 Engineering for splash pad design and engineering. J2 will work with city staff and a committee of volunteer moms to decide features and theme preferences. Construction for the new splash pad is expected to begin early spring.
