Rachel Ilene O’Brady, formerly known as Gerry Layton, was born on July 8, 1956, in Sandusky, Ohio. She waitressed for 28 years and was also a freelance artist. She became a private in-home caregiver after she moved to Page, Arizona. Rachel loved nature and all animals. She always put the Lord first, then family and friends.
Rachel was preceded in death by her loving husband Tom Layton, her parents Bill and Jean Tracey, and her first husband Alan Guerra. She is survived by her sons Michael Guerra (New York), Rick Guerra (Page) and Bill Guerra (Page).
Rachel was a deeply caring person with a big heart and lots of patience. She will be remembered and missed greatly.
A memorial service will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Page on Saturday, Jan. 21.
