Nicholas George Sampson passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2023. Nick was born February 21, 1968, in Prescott, Arizona, to Lora and Lloyd Sampson. He grew up in Mayer Arizona until the family moved to Page, Arizona, in 1974. Nick graduated from Page High School in 1986. He enjoyed playing on the Page High School football team and also enjoyed raising a pig in the FFA. After high school Nick went into the Navy and was stationed in San Diego. He became a pattern maker. After the Navy he lived in Page working as a plumber. In 1996 his son Skyler George Sampson was born. Nick’s greatest joy in life was becoming a father. In 2005 he moved to Phoenix and worked for Williams Scotsman as a maintenance repair man. He loved riding his Harley every day of his life, many times stopping by family homes just to say hi and have breakfast. Nicholas was a one-of-a-kind guy who loved everyone, especially his family and the Cowboys. His smile and laugh will be greatly missed.
Nicholas resides in Heaven with his wife Dawn Sampson, his mother and his granny. He is survived by his son Skyler, father Lloyd, brother Ty, sisters Courtney (Christian) and Robyn (Ryan), and nieces and nephews Jordyn, Tabor, Gavin, Riley and Drew.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 8, at Lone Rock Beach and The Bowl in Page.
