PAGE – The Page City Council approved a 40-acre land sale to Rudolph Shevat to develop a KOA resort. Shevat has a 5-year option to purchase 12.70 acres adjacent to the property. The agreement is for $940,000.
Councilor Brian Carey said, “It’s exciting that Page is still a destination for this type of higher-end development. I think the council still is very interested in increasing our residential stock, and there are things going on behind the scenes to have that happen.”
Carey said one of his hopes is to open additional territory in the neighborhood for future residential development.
The development will extend the reach of utility connections.
