Capt’n Chuck Duggins quietly passed away December 28, 2017. Chuck was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy where he was a Flight Engineer on C-130s. He spent the last seven years of his naval career as a Survival Instructor in Brunswick, Maine. After he retired from the Navy, he spent the rest of the 40 years in Maine pursuing his passion of fishing and hunting. He obtained his Boat Captain and his Maine Guide’s licenses and guided numerous clients on the Penobscot River in northern Maine.

He was born in Baltimore, MD in 1935 and joined the Navy at age 17. He spent the last 17 years of his life in Page, Ariz., where he enjoyed fishing for smallmouth bass. He is survived by his wife of 60 plus years, Dawn (Allen) Duggins, his sisters Joan (Bill) Fox, and Peggy McCabe, five children; Becky Crittenden, Deb Hamlyn (Bob), Jack Duggins (Corie), Catherine Rioux and Jim Duggins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13th at the Lake Powell Church of the Nazarene, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers make donations to the Cancer Society, please.
