At approximately 12:23 a.m. on the morning of April 7, owner and operator of Page’s Beach Break Boardshop received an urgent call from his security company. The alarm in his store had been tripped and police were already en route to investigate.
Ryan Hensman, who had been called for false alarms in the past, groggily threw on some clothes and drove down. Much to his dismay upon arriving at the scene, he noticed the glass door to his shop was shattered. Inside were three police officers brandishing flashlights and on high alert.
