Freshman Dante Gracia was Page High’s only all-state wrestler at last weekend’s Arizona Division III championship in Prescott Valley.

Gracia, competing in the 113-pound weight class, placed sixth.

He won his two opening matches before losing 7-5 to Elias Gonzales, of Tempe.

In the consolation bracket, he won his first two matches by fall before losing 9-0 to Keeney, of Payson. In the fifth place match, he again lost to Gonzalez, 6-3.

As a team, the Sand Devils scored 47 points, which tied for 22nd with Florence. Holbrook took the team title with 195.5 points

According to coach Chris Deschene, others who performed well—falling just shy of the medal rounds—were Ethan Narada, who finished in eighth place at 182 pounds, Martinez Tunney 12th at 138, and Coniah Bilagody 12th at 285.
