Police search for stolen property

Page Police Department received a complaint on Oct. 12, which lead to a search warrant being served at Lake Powell Waterworld on Dec. 5.

The search warrant was issued to recover alleged stolen property at 455 Haul Rd. Page police, Coconino County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety were on scene at approximately 10:15 a.m.

Page PD brought in their mobile command unit to process the alleged stolen items in a climate-controlled atmosphere. Officers left the scene at 11 p.m. after numerous items were seized and placed into evidence, according to Page PD Captain Ray Varner.

Three felony charges have been filed in the investigation, however, the suspects names are being withheld until they can be served with arrest warrants, stated Varner.

Lake Powell Waterworld is a Page business that specializes in watercraft rentals, sales, repairs, and storage.

According to the Arizona Corporate Commision website, the president and chief executive officer of Lake Powell Waterworld is Thomas Hancock and the secretary of the corporation is E. Fredericka Hancock.
