You wouldn’t find any drama on the boys side of the Page Merchants track and field meet April 20 as the Sand Devils scored more points than the second- and third-place two teams combined, but the girls made it interesting, edging out Monument Valley and Kanab to take the victory.

Led by sophomore Jason Moore’s wins in the 100 meters, 200 meters and long jump, the boys scored 215.5 points, outdistancing runner-up Window Rock (104 points) and Kanab (93.5 points).

Alexis Smith’s double in the discus and shot put fueled the Lady Sand Devils to a 126-121 win over the second-place Mustangs. The Cowgirls scored 115.
