Express yourself! He does.-Letter to the Editor

Posted: Wednesday, Feb 13th, 2013

Over the years, I’ve written a lot of letters to the newspaper. Some get printed and some don’t. Too political, too racial or I mentioned names. Push the boundaries of the news. A lot of times I’ve written things I wish I could take back. Once you hit the “send” key, it’s too late. Hey, how are you suppose to know what you can say or not say?

I’m just a person who has always said what has been on my mind. Some agree and some not. Am I alone? Probably not.

Almost everyone has a computer now days. Write the newspaper and express yourself. Complain about my letters, which happens often. Write a good joke or a riddle. Just don’t sit around keeping your thoughts to yourself. You’ll pick up that paper and see your name in print.

I don’t read the Page newspaper each week. I stopped that after a black man was killed in our park on a Friday and our citizens didn’t find out about it until the next Wednesday’s newspaper.
