The Page Unified School District Governing Board has compiled a list of spending cuts it plans to implement to compensate for the loss of the override tax, including down-grading some certified staff positions to classified, trimming back on supply purchases and even cutting some positions entirely.
At a work/study session Feb. 6, district superintendent Jim Walker presented board members with what he called a “streamlined” process for helping them decide where to make cuts that would have the least impact on the classroom.
