Kenneth David McBride was always willing to help

Kenneth David McBride of Page, passed away on Dec.14, 2012 at the age of 61 in Durango, Colo.

McBride was born to Floyd Warren and Ardith McBride in Safford, Ariz., on Dec. 14, 1951.

He served as a LDS missionary on the Navajo Reservation and attended college at BYU.

He met his wife during construction of the Navajo Generating Station and worked for NGS for 35 years before retiring in 2008.

He was involved in Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed coaching baseball and softball, hiking, camping and fishing. He loved reading, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.

McBride was always willing to help family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Lena McBride, sons Jason, Jeffrey and Jesse, daughters, Lenae Tsinnie, Leanna June, Brothers Norman and Clifford Lang and sisters Gerilyn McBride, Thelma McCabe, Jeannie Evans, Veda Pike Kara Herrin and his nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 22, at the LDS Stake Center in Page with arrangements conducted by Mosdell Mortuary.
