Phillip J. Brown, respectful and kind husband and father

Phillip J Brown Sr, 77, of Kaibeto, Ariz. was born December 15, 1937 in Shonto, into the Salt Clan, for the Manygoats Clan. He died September 27, 2012 in Tuba City.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Brown, his five children, Sonny Brown, LaVenda Brown, Phillip Brown Jr, Lemuel Brown and LaRena Brown, 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Etheyl Boyd, father Dick Brown, sister Mabel Stone, grandsons Renaldo Bennett and Kyle Brown and granddaughter Sophia Brown.

He was a very special, loving, respectful and kind husband, father, grandfather (also known by his grandchildren as “NaNa”) and friend to many. He loved to fish and play golf. He will forever be remembered and never forgotten.

The Brown family would like to thank everyone for your love, support and kind words during this hard and difficult time. We are so grateful to have such loving friends and family.

“We love you NaNa. You were so great and wonderful to your family and did everything for us. You helped us in so many ways. We will miss you so much, but we know that you will always be watching over us”.

Funeral services were held on Oct 1, at the LDS Stake Center in Page. Bishop Phillip D. Lynn officiated. Interment followed at the Page Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
