At approximately 10 a.m. Sept. 19, a bus caught fire on Highway 98 burning completely to the frame.
Captain Paul Marlow of Page Fire Department said the driver was able to pull over and get all of the passengers and their luggage to safety.
According to Marlow, the fire started when the engine blew out the back of the bus, and quickly spread to engulf the entire bus in flames.
The Navajo Generating Station assisted the fire department by providing an additional engine and personnel to fight the blaze.
The fire was extinguished by 10:36 a.m., according to the report.
