John R. Foreman

John R. Foreman, 72, of Mesa, Ariz. passed away on July 4, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

John was born in Madisonville, Ky. on March 2, 1940. John was proud to serve with the US Marine Corps. John moved to Arizona in 1979 to work for Peabody Coal.

He and his family lived in Page for 14 years.

John’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gina Foreman, sons Linc (Lindy) Foreman and Matt (Angela) Foreman, grandchildren Dylan and Jordyn Foreman, and sister Sheila Foreman.

Services will be held for John on July 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association, 102 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85003 (602-258-7505).
