School board throws the book at PHS students

PAGE — The school board on April 17 approved next year’s Page High School student, coach and activities handbooks.

The handbooks were approved with minor changes including new rules regarding student identification cards. Students were required to wear the card on a lanyard around their necks at all times, but now it is only required that the card be on the student’s person at all times.

Additionally, the PHS handbook now includes an attendance intervention flow chart in which infractions and consequences are clearly represented.
