Posted: Thursday, Mar 18th, 2010

PAGE – A Page Public Library employee opening a door on the east side of the building was assaulted by a Native American male at about 8:14 a.m. on March 17.

Another employee found the victim and called the Page Police Department.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety and Coconino County Sheriff’s Department assisted Page P.D. in searching the building and surrounding area for the suspect.

The suspect currently remains at large and is described as a 5 feet, 10 inches tall Native American male, heavy set, wearing a black hat, black jacket, blue jeans, with severe facial acne and a high-pitched voice.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to contact the Page P.D. at (928) 645-2463 or Silent Witness at (928) 645-2819. Information leading to an arrest may result in a reward of up to $1,000, and callers may remain anonymous.
