Seek peace with God to avoid life’s destructive trap

R.B. Ward has been a long-time preacher in the Churches of Christ. He has served in that capacity in Page for more than 10 years.
Much about “religion” today has been, and is still, based on tradition. Traditional thinking about religious affairs has in large part become a self-fulfilling anticipation that all things religious must remain tradition “bound.”

Obviously, great comfort and confidence in religions and church practice is a large part of why we do as we do religiously.

Once in a while in man’s long experience with a God, who somehow overlooks the varied activities of mankind from a distance, has been a solace of comfort.

Some have found comfort in the aspect of “distance” more than the overlooking.
