A recent survey found that there are 23 million people in America who profess to be Christians but do not attend church anywhere. Some have dropped out of church, just getting out of the habit of attending regularly. Some have been hurt by people in church and no longer want to expose themselves to that again. Others never attended church much as they were growing up and fail to see the need or the benefits of being a part of a church family.
There are more than 100 million people regularly attending the half million churches in the United States, people who have found the many benefits and the great joy of being part of a good church family.
