Coconino County Supervisors endorse Kirkpatrick

Modified: Thursday, Jan 30th, 2014

Ann Kirkpatrick

The Kirkpatrick for Arizona campaign announced support from all five members of the Coconino County Board of Supervisors as part of its ongoing rollout of key endorsements in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District.

"The people of Coconino County know they have a strong partner in Congresswoman Kirkpatrick who’s out there working hard to create smart economic growth and jobs for rural Arizona,” said District 5 Supervisor Lena Fowler, who represents the Page area. “She’s done a great job in Washington and we need her to continue representing us.”

From Kirkpatrick’s experience as a former county prosecutor and city attorney to her strong record on job development and rural issues, the supervisors were united in their praise for her work in Congress and the need for her reelection.

District 2 Supervisor Liz Archuleta said, "As Coconino County's first female prosecutor, I know Ann has always been tough enough to take on any fight. Whether it's helping us fund county services or developing jobs for our region, she has always been there when we need her."

The election is Nov. 4.
