The Powell Museum has been featuring the Page High School photography department as its artists of the month for March.
All students in the advanced portion of the program had the opportunity to have their work displayed at a public reception March 14.
The program has some uniquely high-end resources, both in equipment and in instructor, Kyran Keisling.
Keisling, an accomplished photographer, said to ensure students learn the basics, the cameras they are assigned have full al functioning and they are given a wide range of assignments to teach them how to use them all.
ďOne of the assignments I do every year is give them a 100-by-100-yard square that they have to stay in to shoot. Every year one kid blows me away, does something Iíve never seen before,Ē he said.
