At the Rainbow Room looking for a pot of gold

The Powell Museum held its 35th annual fund-raising banquet and auction over the weekend in the Rainbow Room at Wahweap Marina. After the prime rib dinner, the public had the chance to bid on a wide variety of silent auction items, several large ticket live auction items, or take their chance with one of the many prize balloons. Museum officials estimate the event raised about $30,000, with more expected.
