Big Water: big plans, big water

BIG WATER — The new Big Water Water Board passed a resolution to move responsibility of the water utility from the Glen Canyon Special Service District to the town.

“It’s going to give us a chance to do a couple things, like a little bit of restructuring,” Mayor Jade McBride said. “It’s a good thing.”

McBride said this affects the way the town handles bookkeeping, office work, and ultimately will make the town more efficient, perhaps saving money in the long run.
