Keithfer Bennett Sr.s passion was driving truck

Keithfer Leroy Bennett Sr., 51, of Kaibeto, gracefully passed away on June 13.

He attended the Kaibeto Boarding School in the early 70s and went to high school in Page and Moab.

Keithfer was a long-time truck driver and the people who knew him said it was his passion. He drove for General Rock and Sand, Navajo Nation Senior Centers, Hancock Trucking Company, and other trucking companies in New Mexico and Tuba City.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Calamity Bennett; his grandparents, Robert and Lorraine White; his sons Keithfer Jr., Kendrick, Kristopher, Kurt and Kyle; his daughters Kim, Mona, Karlyn, Kaylen and Mariann Kathleen Kai; his brothers Wilson, Ricky, Gene, Kew, Keiven; his sisters, Kat, Karletta, Coni, Teresa, Pursita, Geneva, Merlinda, Georgina, Karen, Kori, Karlena, and Claudina and 17 grandchildren.

Keithfer was a brother, a son, a grandfather, a husband and an uncle.

Many thanks to all the people for their help, prayers and support; he will never be forgotten.
