Elbert Basham loved fishing, camping along Lake Powell

On Feb. 11, 2013, Elbert Basham, 79, our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully in Page.

Elbert was born a twin on May 22, 1933, in Flint, Mich., to Wid and Nola Jane Basham.

He resided in Page for more than 30 years.

Elbert loved the outdoors, fishing and camping along the shores of beautiful Lake Powell.

Elbert is survived by his twin brother and a sister of Flint Michigan, his five children—Rickie Basham, Penelope Martinez, Vickie Morrison, Tina Basham and Shellie Salter; his seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

His celebration-of-life memorial will be at a later date.

He is loved and will be missed dearly.
