(UPDATED Oct. 23 with coach's comments and further details)

Trailing 12-6 after three quarters in Chinle, Page High scored four touchdowns in the fourth to beat the Wildcats, 33-12.

Michael Yates Bauer continued his late-season emergence, scoring three of the Sand Devils’ four touchdowns in the final quarter. Jason Moore, in his first game back from an injury, scored the other one, as well as Page’s only touchdown in the first three quarters.

Moore, the Devils’ offensive leader, had missed the previous three games due to a leg injury.

In his absence, Yates Bauer stepped up. Against the Wildcats, he ran for 118 yards on 13 carries while Moore picked up 113 on 12.

The win improves Page’s record to 5-3, and keeps the team in the thick of the state playoff hunt.
