A key defensive play by Joseph Secody triggered a fourth-quarter run that carried the Sand Devils to a 46-34 victory over visiting Kanab on Dec. 20.
The win improved Page’s record to 9-6 as the team heads into the holiday break.
The Devils led 35-29 at the end of the third quarter, before both teams’ offenses deserted them in the fourth.
Nobody had scored in the quarter as the clock ticked under four minutes.
A Cowboy grabbed an offensive rebound and was set to go up for the follow when Secody reached in with both hands and ripped the ball away.
