The girls basketball team stands at 7-4 on the season after a week in which they won two games by at least 50 points (versus Greyhills and Chavez), but lost as defending champions by 23 (to Valley) High in the first game of the Pepsi tournament in Flagstaff.
They won their next two in the consolation bracket (the Chavez game and Mesa) but blew a fourth-quarter lead against Mountain View, losing 44-40.
The girls try to get on track with a three-game homestand beginning Dec. 11 against Monument Valley, then Dec. 13 against Flagstaff, and Dec. 15 against Coconino.
