Wrestlers beat Mingus, place third in Utah tournament

The Page High wrestlers are coming together as a team, both on the mat and off, according to head coach Kyran Keisling.

The Sand Devils placed third in last weekend’s tournament in Hurricane, Utah. And although Keisling joked that, “It sounds a lot better if you don’t mention that there was only six teams there,” he added, “We wrestled very well, showing a vast improvement from the start of the season.”Two days before the Hurricane tourney, his team was in Cottonwood to take on Mingus Union, and for the first time since 2000, the Devils defeated the Marauders.
