The Page High football team finished its season the same way it started it — getting spanked by an upper-division school from the big city.
Flagstaff defeated the Sand Devils 63-6 at the Skydome in a game that, believe it or not, wasn’t as close as the score would indicate. Coconino beat the Devils, 55-0, in Page’s opener
Against the Eagles, the visiting Devils scored a garbage-time touchdown on a 23-yard pass from Drew Wilson to Felix Padilla, their only highlight of the game other than a fumble recovery by Wilyiott Yazzie on the Eagles’ first possession and an 80-yard kickoff return by CJ Ripka later in the quarter.
The Devils were unable to take advantage of either.
