I had the chance to cover most of the lake this past week and found an amazing number of shad hanging out in the back of the canyons on the north end.

The Page High golf team took first place last week during the annual Coconino Invite at the Flagstaff Continental Country Club. Sand Devils crush Ganado, 61-24

The Sand Devils football team traveled to Ganado last Friday to prove their mettle against the 5-1 Hornets and easily defeated their opponents 61-24.
The Hornets defense was stymied when it came to stopping the Sand Devils offense, which was led by running back Kele Meredith who delivered a monster game compiling 224 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns.
