Lady Sand Devils win Lake Powell Holiday Classic

For the fourth year in a row, the Lady Sand Devils won the Lake Powell Holiday Classic. Along the way, Myka Taliman and Lelisa Watson were named to the All Tournament Team, and Jacey Salabiye was named tournament MVP.

Wrestling team placed second at Peaks

The Sand Devils wrestling team finished in second place at the Peaks Invitational Tournament held last Friday and Saturday in Flagstaff.
The Sand Devils defeated the Dolores [Colo.] Bears 69-6, and the Flagstaff Eagles 47-36 to advance to the final round where they lost to the Yuma Criminals 42-36.
