Terral E. Tower passed away on June 8, 2009, in Tucson, Ariz. Terry grew up in Globe, Ariz., and later settled in Page. He was employed and retired with Salt River Project at the Navajo Generating Station.
Terry is survived and greatly missed by his wife and friend of 30 years, Carmen; five children: Troy of Globe, Norma Tillett of Tucson; Julie (Hank) Schucking of Page, Tim (Autumn) Burgess of Page, and Dr. Wesley Vaughn of Tucson; two adopted daughters: Nancy (Dan) Bowman of Texas and Susan Leonard of Mesa, Ariz.; four brothers: David (Debbie) of Mesa; Mike and Ronnie, both of Globe; and Charles (Leslie) of Benson, Ariz.; two sisters: Tammy (Larry) Guerin of Globe and Pat (Dan) Villegas of Mesa; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Dorothy Tower, and brother Rick.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the Pera Club in Page. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, Ariz., for its loving kindness that allowed Terral to live his life to the end at home with his loving family.
